Moxibustion

It is one of the techniques used in Traditional Chinese Medicine along with acupuncture. If acupuncture consists of the superficial introduction of subtle needles, moxibustion is performed by applying heat on the surface of the skin, at the different acupuncture points, to regulate and balance the energies that pass through them.

For the application of this heat a medicinal herb called Artemis is used, which can be made in different forms for its different applications: in the form of pure (the most used), in the form of small cones, or small grains.

Depending on the pathology of each person, one or other applications would be indicated.

Moxibustion recovers Yang, heats the meridians, regulates the circulation of the meridians, improves the circulation of Qi and blood. Eliminates stagnation, cold and moisture, detoxifies, strengthens health, tones the middle Jiao (The viscera). Very beneficial for chronic pathologies.

Auriculotherapy

Auriculotherapy is the method to diagnose and treat the body through the auricular pavilion. Its main characteristic is the simplicity of its application contrasted with the effectiveness of its results.

This rehabilitation technique is originally from traditional Chinese medicine and is responsible for activating specific points of the ear and ear to generate a sensation that promotes and balances certain functions in the body and organism.

The treatment of some health problems painlessly is one of the main benefits of Auriculotherapy. It has the same therapeutic foundations as acupuncture, but it focuses solely on the ear and its mapping, based on the fact that in the ear there are reflex points to each part of the body, which if properly stimulated They cause a reaction in the nervous system of the limb or the area that is affected, helping to relieve or restore it.

Suction cups

The Suction Cups (Bá Guàn 拔罐 in Chinese) is an ancient technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTC), which consists of using suction cups causing them to stick to the body making a vacuum, either by the action of fire (拔火罐 Bá Huǒ Guàn) or by the mechanical action of the pneumatic suction cups.

Suction produced by the suction cup causes an increase in blood supply in the area, stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation, as well as cell metabolism (provides nutrients and oxygen), activating the immune system (provides leukocytes to the tissues), and triggering a purifying process (elimination of toxins).

From the point of view of the MTC, the suction cups are used to restore the flow of Qi and Blood when they are stagnant or clogged, as well as to eliminate excesses. In the latter sense, they are used especially when there is pain caused by an “external pathogenic factor” (Wind, Cold and / or Humidity). They can be used statically on specific points, or dynamically following the meridian path.

The main drawback of this technique is that it leaves circular marks where static suction cups have been applied. These bruises are normal (and desirable), but they are not very aesthetic and may take days (and even weeks) to disappear.

Phytotherapy

Chinese herbal medicine is based on herbal remedies, as well as other ingredients of animal or mineral origin, which have been used for centuries in China as nutritional supplements to regulate the body. The various ingredients that make up each formula are combined in proportions that maximize their effects and inhibit possible side effects.

The knowledge of these combinations is the result of thousands of years of experience and research. Each formula is a mixture of herbs adapted to each individual. In therapy, a previous diagnosis of the patient is made individually and subsequently a traditional formula will be prescribed to maximize the formula that will correspond to the energy conditions of each person.

In MTC, the balance and interaction of all ingredients is considered more important than the effect of individual ingredients.

Bach flowers

Bach flower therapy is a natural therapy based on flower essences. In this therapy the approach to the disease is holistic, it treats the individual and not the disease, nor its symptoms. When using Bach flowers, not only the person’s health is taken into account, but also his mood, his personality and his way of dealing with problems.

Its discoverer was Dr. Ewdard Bach, a great researcher, as well as a doctor and homeopath. His theory is based on the fact that the disease is the result of an emotional imbalance, which occurs in the energy field of the living being. By harmonizing the negative states with the natural essences (energy field of each of the essences) these energy fields are harmonized and this action is the one that resolves the emotional problems and, consequently, the physical illnesses.

From the balance the health is resumed.

Each of the 38 natural remedies is indicated to treat a different negative emotional disorder, such as: fear, fear, uncertainty, insecurity, loneliness among others. Each medicinal plant corresponds to one of the human qualities and its purpose is to strengthen that quality.

Nutrition

From Traditional Oriental Medicine, food is the first medicine and its purpose is to nourish and harmonize the body, mind and spirit. All foods have energetic properties and characteristics that either help balance our body and are healthy for us, or create imbalances that ultimately manifest as disease.

FOODS HAVE ATTRIBUTES THAT MAKE THEM AN AUTHENTIC MEDICINE.

If a food is beneficial for you, it will be determined by the effect it generates on your body. Therefore, the most important thing is the type of food and its quality as opposed to its quantity.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine foods are described by qualities such as temperature, taste and the action they exert. The MTC determines the energy properties and unique characteristics of each food such as: hot / cold, contractive / expansive, salty / sweet / bitter / spicy / acidic taste, and how these foods act and mobilize our body.

Just as all foods have a measurable energy (Yin-Yang according to the oriental energy) and particular characteristics, all people have bodies with bio-individual characteristics, just like our personality, which makes us unique. Therefore, there is no single diet for everyone, not so much for the same person throughout his life, since during our existence we go through several stages that require different needs and therefore a diet adapted to that moment.

From the PNI (Psychoneuroimmunology)

On the other hand we are individuals who have evolved according to an ancestral diet. This refers to foods that have contributed to our having a certain physiological and emotional constitution. It is very important to remember these guidelines not only of the foods that have accompanied us for thousands of years but also the way we consumed them as well.

Biomagnetism

Biomagnetism is a therapeutic system in which high-potency magnets are used to eliminate bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that are the cause of almost all diseases. The magnets are applied in various areas of the body, as if it were a scan or scan.

Biomagnetism treatment is indicated for patients suffering from different types of pathologies due to infections, inflammations, digestive problems, muscle injuries, even cold symptoms, migraines or emotional disorders.

Compatible with any other form of therapy (Acupuncture, Alopathy, Homeopathy, etc…).
